Check Out the Tints at Blue Elephant's Pop-up in Glorietta 3
Piping-hot South Korean eyewear brand Blue Elephant has justĀ opened a pop-up store in Glorietta 3, which should be an essential stop for discerning Filipino men seeking robust, chic and classy specs and sunnies that won't cost you an arm and a leg.
A limited three-month long pop-up set up shop early last month with popular styles worn by the likes of Korean superstarts such as Seulgi from Red Velvet, Soobin of Tomorrow X Together, DK of Seventeen, and Haechan from NCT.
With major eyewear players such as fellow South Korean-based luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster making waves in the world of fashion, Blue Elephant is building off its social media explosion for the sheer quality and value of their products while staying at prices that range from P2,999 to P3,999. This is just a fraction of what the specs and shades from similar brands go for.

The futuristic aesthetic of the Glorietta 3 pop-up should appeal to K-fashion fans, with sleek lighting and warped mirrors that telegraph what Blue Elephant is all about, keeping the spotlight on both the timeless and what's hot right now in all things style.
The brand also made waves online after people claimed that the frames were made in the same factory as its much more expensive contemporary, Gentle Monster. This claim, which is stoking fire to the hype, has yet to be corroborated by either South Korean brand.

The futuristic Blue Elephant pop-up

Blue Elephant's meteoric rise around its robust shades could make an even bigger buzz in the Philippine market and discerning Filipino consumers who see value and style as paramount when bestowing a new product their collective nod of approval.
Below are a few of the silhouettes and styles that we tried on at the pop-up that we would reccomend for men who want to elevate their frame game with timeless and contemporary options.
1| Andy S

The Andy S stood out to us for having that classic and timeless menswear vibe with square-like frames that keep things understated while maintaining a versatile design ethic.
2| Ove

A rounder and more fashion-forward throwback piece reminiscent of outfits popularized by the late-great Kurt Cobain of the 90s. The Ove is suited for those who think of themselves as artsy people with untapped creative energy and much more casual and whimsical in demeanor.
3| Deps

The Deps is one of the most sought-after pieces from Blue Elephant, gaining traction for being an alternative to Gentle Monster designs. It works with both casual and even dressier functions especially in the black, grey crystal, and khaki tint options.
