The New Supreme x Nike Drop Is Dripping In '90s Nostalgia
Remember when people used to wear clothes three sizes too big for them and shave Nike ticks into the backs of their heads? Those were the days, eh. Okay maybe not, but with a little help from cult skate brand Supreme, the aforementioned Oregonian sportswear giant is helping us relive them anyway. And surprisingly, it actually looks pretty good.Â
The label’s latest collaboration with Supreme has dropped and, like a lot of things in fashion at the moment, it’s heavy on the ‘90s styling. Late-millenium staples like relaxed-fit dungarees, worker jackets, and all-over logo prints feature heavily in the new capsule collection, which is built around four key colors: maroon, yellow, navy, and black.Â
There are also some gold ‘Swoosh’ ear studs—just like the bully at your school used to wear—and a reversible gilet. That’s basically two jackets for the price of one, if that makes you feel any better about paying what will no doubt be ludicrous resale prices to get your hands on one.Â
Finally, there’s a jersey tracksuit and a beanie up for grabs just in time for the weather beginning to turn. Still, if you want to be in with a chance of getting hold of any of it you’ll need to act fast, because as always, it’ll be gone in the blink of an eye.
