Shopping isn't a terribly manly pursuit—or at least not one that we'd admit to out loud, anyway. But trust SSI to know your secret purchasing habits. SSI Group president Anton Huang reveals that, from their stores, men spend money for—surprise!—women's gifts the most. But when shopping for themselves, they gravitate toward shoes, which makes sense because, as we all know, women always look at our shoes.

As for the shopping forecast during the November rush? The gods remind you to stay calm. Huang assures men that, within their universe of over 100 international brands, there will be a lot to choose from “...according to your taste or who you're buying for." Never worry that you won't find the perfect gift for your picky lola aka The Woman Who Has Everything (may we suggest a golden teapot adorned by a bad-ass snake from TWG?)

Huang's own shopping strategy would be the best: “I call Mika (Lagdameo), who does my shopping for me.” If, in case you'd also like someone else to do the fieldwork, this personal shopper service is available for everyone. And if you really, really want stay at home, SSI now has five online shopping sites, too: lacoste.ph, payless.ph, 158db.com.ph, beautybar.com.ph, and superga.com.ph (launching soon). It doesn't hurt that SSI currently has a partnership with MasterCard and Singapore Airlines that gives shoppers the chance to win a trip to Paris, London, or Singapore or shopping credits for even more shopping.
