When the first Yeezys came out in 2015, the brand became one of the most sought-after sneakers in the world. A firestorm of crazed shoppers just had to get their hands on a pair. They crashed sites, inflated resale prices, and lined up for days outside retail stores.

The very first pair of the Foam Runner was first spotted in June 2019 on North West’s feet. Since then, rumors of a new Yeezy circulated on sneaker pages. Kanye West finally put an end to rumors when he announced its release for June 2020.
