Do is the mastermind behind design-driven organizations such as the creative solutions agency Blind and online education platform The Futur.

For over two decades, Blind has been at the forefront of the motion design field, with projects like award-winning commercials, music videos, and promotional materials under its belt.

The whole-day workshop hosted by Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) will take place on the second day of CREATE Philippines 2018, which will be held on September 22 to 23 at the Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City.

To gear up for the weekend, here’s a sample of what participants might learn from Do’s class:

The rest of the class will be a hands-on workshop with the attendees, where they can engage with the speaker and role-play relevant problematic business scenarios that designers face.

With a goal to uplift those in the creative field and highlight their importance in a business, the second edition of CREATE Philippines focuses on Communication Design. The event will center on both traditional and digital platforms such as print, publications, commercials, logos, websites, and app design.

The weekend event will tackle both the design end and the business aspect of communication design. On the business track, attendees can expect to learn from Love & Madness Clothing Corp. owner AJ Dimacurot, Happy Garaje co-founder Mark Joseph Deutsch, and Plus 63 Design Co. graphic designer Raxenne Dosher Maniquiz.

Representing the design end is Adobe-certified instructor Rollan Bañez. Meanwhile, Cative Economy Council of the Philippines president Paolo Mercado, TeamManila founder Jowee Alviar, and Adobo Magazine founder and CEO Angel Guerrero will tackle best industry practices.
