King of Collabs Virgil Abloh Is Releasing a Limited-Edition Moët & Chandon Champagne Bottle

Off-White founder Virgil Abloh is at it again. Following successful collaborations with some of the world’s top fashion and apparel brands including Nike, Moncler, Jimmy Choo, and Levis, along with a number of creative partnerships with artistic icons such as Takashi Murakami, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, the 'king of collaborations' has just worked with Champagne house Moët & Chandon.
The result? An exclusive collection of the renowned Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rosé Champagne. A market leader and one of the most recognizable Champagne houses, Moët & Chandon is owned by LVMH, the same group that also owns Louis Vuitton, where Abloh has recently been appointed as men’s artistic director earlier this year.
Available in two limited-edition and custom-designed bottles, this marks the designer’s first wine and spirit collaboration. The 750 ml bottle is an “all-white” take on Moët & Chandon’s classic gold-labeled rosé. The neck is wrapped in white foil and is trimmed with rose-gold highlights around its border and a white ‘X’ in the center. The clear glass bottle bears Abloh’s signature “DO NOT DROP” along the side. A three-liter jeroboam, which is exclusively available to Abloh’s friends and family was also made in an all-clear glass bottle.
The Champagne house’s special Nectar Imperial Rosé is said to be “the most gourmet and voluptuous expression of the Moët & Chandon style,” and the champagne of choice for those that appreciate its demi-sec style. Rich and sophisticated, it is fruit forward with a crisp finish.
For now, the Champagne is a U.S. exclusive and will be available for purchase at Clos19, beginning on October 1.
