Mercedes-Benz Has a New Trim for Its E-Class

The new and heavily refreshed E-Class was introduced last February by Auto Nation Group (ANG), the official importer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Philippines.

Back then, only the E200 AMG Line variant was made available. But starting this month, the new E-Class is now available in two trims: the newly introduced Avantgarde Line priced at P5.29 million and the AMG Line which starts at P5.39 million.

Considering the heavy devaluation of the peso in recent months, the price of admission for a tri-star badged midsize German luxury sedan isn’t that steep anymore. The new E-Class Avantgarde is actually a bit more affordable and still carries a clear statement of luxury, elegance and power—from its elongated bonnet power domes, new and redesigned headlamps, and modern rims.

The Avantgarde trim has an understated design that makes it even more desirable. It comes in a redesigned grille with two chrome louvers and vertical high-gloss black struts. The chrome and high-gloss black trim elements in the front bumper offer a sporty and dynamic undertone despite adding to its elegant appearance. The trim offers the individuality and sportiness rarely seen in base versions like this. Its new 19-inch 10-spoke light alloy wheels finishes the job quite nicely.

Inside, the new E-Class is packed with innovations and features to enhance driving assistance, comfort, and safety. Its dual 12.3-inch display is equipped with the latest NTG 6 MBUX multimedia system.

It also has state-of-the-art safety systems including the latest PRE-SAFE system, Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, Urban Guard vehicle protection, and Active Parking Assist just to name a few. The trim also has power closing doors as standard, which closes its doors smoothly and almost silently. The interior upholstery is wrapped in full Artico leather on the seats and in all the soft touchpoints in the interior.
