There’s More to See and Do at Southeast Asia’s First Toyota Car Museum in La Union

At R Garage, it’s not just about the cars. At least, not anymore.  The first Toyota car museum in Southeast Asia recently launched two new attractions: the Ignition Pavilion and the Revline Gallery. Spearheaded by the museum’s founders Rene So and his son Richmond Glen So, who serves as general manager of Toyota La Union, the new features of the museum reinforces R Garage’s mission to preserve automotive heritage and inspire future generations.

The expansion’s Ignition Pavilion is a state-of-the-art venue designed to host larger events, exhibits, and community activities. As the first modern function hall with a car-centric theme in Northern Luzon, it also serves as a hub where motorsports, education, and automotive appreciation activities can take place.

Meanwhile, the Revline Gallery is an interactive art space that weaves together cars and creativity. Centered on the theme “Our REV is our PASSION,” the gallery showcases automotive-inspired visual art that tells the story of Toyota’s impact on design, innovation, and personal expression. 

Situated beside Toyota La Union in Bauang, R Garage houses the largest all?Toyota collection outside Japan and was officially launched as a museum in November 2022. It currently has over 80 iconic Toyota vehicles, including legends like the Sports 800, AE86 Trueno, Supra A80, and other rare Toyota cars, offering guests an immersive journey through Toyota’s engineering and cultural legacy.

Driven by a vision of nation-building through leadership development, R Garage actively partners with schools to provide mentoring, training, and social responsibility programs aimed at cultivating the next generation of leaders.
