Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert features composer John Williams’ iconic Oscar-winning score, with conductor Gerard Salonga taking the helm during the performance. Williams is behind the scoring of all Star Wars films, including The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which were nominated for Best Original Score.

Filharmonika Orchestra, a Manila-based orchestra founded by Salonga in 2005 and only restarted in 2024, takes up the challenge of breathing new life into Williams' scoring. Most of its members came from the former ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, the last orchestra in the Philippines that Salonga led until 2020.

Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert is licensed by Disney Concerts.

Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert is on September 7 (7 p.m.) and September 8 (2 p.m.) at The Theatre at Solaire, Aseana Avenue, Tambo, Parañaque City. Tickets go on sale on June 5 through Ticketworld. The waitlist registration is now open for the pre-sale happening on June 3 and 4.
