8 Cuts Onion Rings, Manam Sisig, and Bottomless Booze at Bank Bar Manila

Weekdays are about to get happier-from 5-8 PM at least.

Bank Bar has officially launched their Happy Hour, a bottomless alcohol extravaganza for just P695. Guests can choose from their updated selection of cocktails, like the reintroduced the Red Bourbon Sour, which was previously called In The Red; and added their take on the Dark and Stormy (who needs Jack and Coke)? As for the money pours, they’ve added one more label to each type of liquor, so there’s really no shortage of good alcohol to choose from. If alcohol isn’t your best friend—especially on weekdays—they’ve also made sure non-alcoholic guests have their own fun, with virgin cocktails that taste just like their alcoholic counterparts, maybe even better.

May also marks the introduction of another new concept into the mix: the Bartender’s Special. Chosen through an internal competition, participating bartenders channel their creativity into inventing fresh, new mixes. The winner is featured on the menu with their name on it. This month, we have Yuric Yu, with his drink Green Liberation. “It’s a summer drink,” explained Yuric, as he made it tableside. Yuric infused Bombay gin with basil two days earlier, and mixed it with homemade cucumber syrup plus fresh lemon to create the perfect cocktail to cool down from the summer heat.

The Moment Group favorites, scaled down to bar chow

Of course, happy hour wouldn’t be complete without some bar chow, all for P99. All the Bank Bar favorites are on the menu, like the Crisp Wonton Chips, Chicken Skin Chicharon, and Tapa. They've been reportioned into “snack sizes,” but are still perfect for sharing. And, for the first time, and only for Happy Hour, they’re serving 8Cuts' onion rings and  Manam’s House Crispy Sisig, with a dainty quail egg to match the miniaturized sizing.
