The First Drive-Thru Dunkin' in the Philippines Just Opened
Donuts and coffee shop Dunkin’ (formerly Dunkin’ Donuts) just opened its first drive-thru store in the Philippines, located at Tomas Morato corner E. Rodriguez in Quezon City.
The store comes with an al fresco area on its rooftop, where customers can enjoy sandwiches, coffee, and freshly baked donuts.
The store is also the one of the first to display the company’s new name Dunkin’. The name change has been official since January 2019, but many stores in the Philippines still display the company’s old name, Dunkin’ Donuts.
Dunkin’ decided to drop the word Donuts in its name to reflect its increasing emphasis on coffee and other drinks as well as sandwiches. In North America, the brand is well-known for its brewed coffee, which in the Philippines is still an underrated product.
