The Biggest Wine Expo in Southeast Asia Is Celebrating Its 20th Anniversary in Manila
More than 1,000 wines, spirits, sakes, and beers from around the world are coming to one place on one fine November evening. The Grand Wine Experience is celebrating its 20th anniversary and it's hoping we can stop by and savor the nicer things in life.
This year, Southeast Asia's greatest wine expo is all about rebirths, whatever that means. The wine event is centered around the theme "Bud Break" for this year.
It's supposedly the beginning stage in the annual growth cycle of grapevines when dormant buds are revitalized and produce new shoots. This phase is a critical time for the vineyard, as it can make or break the quality of the grapes. It can be a visual treat, too, seeing as though the lush greens of the vines go perfectly with the landscapes of, say, the south of France, east California, or the south of Madrid.

Cocktails, rum, tequila, and more are also going to be served in the Grand Wine Experience building. Better start practicing now. More than 2,000 people are expected to attend, so seating is pretty limited.
Visitors can also expect to mingle with fellow spirits lovers, connoisseurs, and some people who just want to get down and down a good bottle in one sitting. Renowned winemakers and distillers are also coming to share insights on the current trajectory of the global wine market.
