llaollao, a Spanish frozen yogurt franchise brand founded in 2009, has established massive growth in its Asia presence, particularly in the Philippines since it was launched on our shores in 2016. It has so far 80 locations nationwide, more than tripling its presence in the last two years. As the brand continues to expand its footprint, it recently introduced three new flavors of the LUXE line: Choco Soul, Cookie Mania, and Pistachio Lover. These became available last November 20 at all llaollao locations nationwide.

The LUXE line, according to llaollao Philippines CEO Erika Dee-Gonzales, is "all about indulgence." She added in a statement: "These flavors were designed to be more than just a treat; they’re a way to bring that chill, fun, effortless luxury into everyday life. We wanted to give our llaolovers flavors that are bold, sophisticated, and balanced with premium toppings that elevate our signature frozen yogurt to a whole new level."

Choco Soul features a double dark chocolate brownie with layers of hazelnut sauce and crispy cookie pieces. Cookie Mania, which is basically Lotus Biscoff in a cup, is frozen yogurt topped with crushed Biscoff cookies, a drizzle of Biscoff sauce, fresh mango pieces, and some muesli pieces. Pistachio Lover, on the other hand, is a mix of creamy flavors and fruity freshness with its layers of zesty kiwi, almond crocant, and pistachio sauce.
Strong expansion in Asia
Back in May, llaollao reported to have ended 2023 with record figures in all key aspects of its financial statement. It had a net turnover of €41.3 million, representing a 43% increase over 2022. EBITDA reached €10.3 million, marking a 46% increase compared to the figure achieved in 2022 (which was €7.1 million). It has also exceeded its own expectations, with an EBITDA target originally set at €8.5 million. Total global sales figure to the end customer in 2023 has reached €104.5 million, which represented a 31% growth from 2022.
Up to 55% of these sales came from outlets located in Asia, with more than 200 points of sale. Currently, Asia has the highest presence of llallao globally, with prominence in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
