Sensei Sushi Just Got a Facelift And a New Home

Before Mecha Uma and Ooma, Chef Bruce Ricketts was flexing his faultless sense of taste at a tiny omakase shop called Sensei Sushi. That was in November 2011. Now, he has built a new home on 181 Aguirre Ave, BF Homes, Parañaque, just down the street from where it was originally located.
The sleek new Sensei is a far cry from the old one's hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, but the facelift might have been exactly what the restaurant needed to spice things up. Despite the much larger space, the modern look and intimate vibe have been retained. And, with Bruce Ricketts still at the helm, its position as one of the best restaurants for Japanese food is assured
For eight years, Sensei has been a go-to of every foodie in Manila, and with good reason. Chef Bruce Ricketts’ innovative culinary inceptions have captured the imagination and boosted the local dining landscape. It's where the wunderkind he began and it's where he shines the most.
Sensei is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
