IKEA Is So In Demand That All Slots Are Fully Booked Until Next Week

Fancy a visit to the world’s biggest IKEA store? You’ll have to wait until next week to pay IKEA a visit because all slots are taken until Thursday, December 2.
In case you didn’t know, IKEA is operating on a booking basis, meaning that you have to reserve a slot to visit the store ahead of time. To prevent crowding, walk-ins are not allowed.
It’s no secret just how popular IKEA has become with the home improvement-obsessed crowd. Just a few weeks ago, the website crashed when the online store opened, and now, the real-life store’s waiting list is longer than an embassy’s.
Quarantine restrictions are still in effect, so even though IKEA Pasay City can accommodate 8,000 people on its 730,000 square foot floor space, only 4,000 will actually be allowed inside.
If you’re willing to wait for a slot, visit and refresh IKEA’s reservation page every morning. It’ll no doubt be a digital Hunger Games, but cross your fingers that you’ll get a slot.
Until then, you can browse the IKEA’s online shop and indulge in online hauls. IKEA.ph offers pick-up/collection services, parcel delivery, and truck delivery to locations as far as Pampanga and Batangas.
Happy shopping, Home Buddies.
