Well, that was fun. Esquire Philippines’ Man At His Best Honorees Night 2023 was a night of celebration, from the eight legends and mavericks we honored to the launch of an exciting new addition to the brand. Of course, we partied with some pretty cool people, too.
Held at the Gallio Events Hall in Parañaque City, this year's edition of Man At His Best highlighted the extraordinary people who are the movers and shakers in their disciplines and pursuits. These are the brave men and women who continue to reshape contemporary society through their work and ideas.

Whether it's Ricky Lee's literary trail, Kidlat Tahimik's influence on indie cinema, Donny Pangilinan's great leap, Mayor Joy Belmonte's vision for Quezon City, Ez Mill's meteoric rise, or Ramon Ang's larger-than-life persona, among other storylines, the honorees offer us a beautiful snapshot of the times.
Co-presented by AboitizPower, done in partnership with Remy Martin and Durex, the evening also saw the launch of the Esquire Corner Office—a space where CEOs, presidents, and other business leaders are free to share their stories and passions in and outside the boardroom. With that said, it was our pleasure to pick the brains of Aboitiz Power CEO Manny Rubio, the first CEO of an Aboitiz company not to carry the Aboitiz name. Not a bad start.
