Aside from the world's best employers, the study also found that tech and automotive have risen as industries for students. That's because, according to Universum, young applicants are looking for high-earning jobs in innovation.
"This year we saw an interesting change in industry preferences among students around the world," says Universum's chief strategist Richard Mosley. "Professional services, banking, and strategic consulting careers have all lost their fame, and IT, automotive, and even manufacturing careers have grown significantly. We are witnessing an industry related to innovation. It is a strong desire of students to work in Japan. It will shape the future."
