First Look: Amazon Prime Video to Release Its First Filipino Original Movie Next Year
A few months ago, Amazon Prime Video announced that it was doubling down on original Filipino content, and here’s more proof. After the successful releases of Drag Den with Manila Luzon, One Good Day, and Whether the Weather Is Fine, Ten Little Mistresses (Sampung Mia Kerida) will be the next Filipino original to land on the mega-streaming platform. And this time, it’ll be Amazon’s first Filipino feature film.
The murder-mystery comedy film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and top-billed by John Arcilla, Eugene Domingo, Christian Bables, Pokwang, Arci Muñoz, Carmi Martin, and Agot Isidro. The movie will follow Valentin Esposo, a widowed billionaire juggling 10 mistresses, who all become suspects when the billionaire turns up dead. Chaos ensues as the women race to prove their innocence and unmask the real killer.

Murder, drama, scandals, and affairs—sounds like Ten Little Mistresses has all the makings of a Filipino hit. When it’s described as “the biggest, wildest, campiest mistress movie to end all mistress movies,” how could it not?
