Disney+ to Finally Arrive in the Philippines on November 17
After too long of a wait, Disney+ is finally coming to the Philippines, folks. The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Ltd. announced on Thursday, October 20, that the streaming service will be launching on November 17. Viewers will soon get to watch exclusive offers from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, and Star. Quite the blessings.
“Through Disney+, we are opening new doors of entertainment to everyone with our heritage of unparalleled storytelling, creative excellence and cutting-edge content delivery,” said David Shin, who is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, The Walt Disney Company.
He added: “We are excited that consumers in the Philippines can soon connect with their beloved characters and brands and enjoy access to some of the world’s most original and iconic stories, told by the world’s most talented creators.”
A Heck of Library Coming Our Way
We will soon get Disney+ Originals like Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Moon Knight, and Loki, to name a few. Marvel blockbusters Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and Captain Marvel will be coming to our screens, too. As for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ movies, classics such as Mulan, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Oscar-winning Encanto will now be available, as well.

Disney+ will be accessible on a wide selection of mobile and televisions depending on a user's subscription plan. These include smartphones and tablets (Android or iOS), smart TVs such as Samsung and LG and connected TV devices including Google TV and other Android TV OS, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, and Chromecast.
The Mobile Plan goes for P159 monthly or P1,150 annually while the Premium Plan is priced at P369 monthly or P2,950 annually.
