On Friday, Deadline broke the news that Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington was poised to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we didn’t have to wait long to find out just where in the ever-expanding MCU Jon Snow landed. During his presentation at Disney’s biennial D23 Expo Saturday, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed that Harington will join fellowThrones alum Richard Madden in the cast of Eternals.

The Eternals are a bit of a Marvel deep cut, and made their initial debut in 1976. The heroes are from a race of immortal humanoids, and while the group may not be a household name, one Eternal is—Thanos. In the upcoming film, Madden will play the Eternal Ikaris, while Harington will play human hero Dane Whitman, also known as Black Knight.

They’re far from the only big names in the cast—Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Gemma Chan, and Brian Tyree Henry are also set to star in the film, which is set to be released in November 2020.

In addition to announcing Harington’s role and assembling the Eternals onstage, Disney offered another major Marvel announcement—a premier date for the second Black Panther film. Fans have a lengthy wait ahead, as the film won’t be released until May 6, 2022. Director Ryan Coogler didn’t drop hints as to the story or announce a title. "We're hard at work on it trying to give you something special," he said. "We just really, really want it to be right."
