Justice Is Gray: Another Version of Zack Snyder's Justice League Is Now on HBO Go
While WarnerMedia has closed its doors to the Snyderverse, including sequels of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, there is more content available for those who want this take on DC’s finest heroes.
If you hop on HBO Go right now, you’ll find this curious entry under the streamer’s list of new releases: Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Justice Is Gray.
What is Gray you might ask? It’s the same cut released last March 18, but this time the film is rendered in moody black and white (and shades of, well, gray). According to HBO Go, a black-and-white version of the Snyder Cut has existed for years, with only a few people ever seeing the rare, color-sapped take.
Want even more Snyder Cut? Last week, Snyder released an alternate cut of that Knightmare scene on Twitter, with Joker saying his now-famous line from early trailers: “We live in a society….” This one is also in black and white.
Still want more? WarnerMedia's decision to move away from the Snyderverse might not spell the end for this gang of do-gooders. One way to support the Snyderverse movement is to stream the cuts—either this one or the one in color will do—to let them know that you want to see what happens next.
Already, the numbers are looking good for #RestoreTheSnyderVerse, with HBO Max (the streamer's version in the U.S.) experiencing 1.48 million downloads for its app or a 64-percent increase, according to data from Apptopia.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Justice Is Gray is now available on HBO Go.
