Quit Playing Games: The Backstreet Boys Are Coming Back to Manila

They were last in Manila in 2019, and it looks like they can’t quite help coming back. Backstreet Boys, one of the world’s all-time bestselling musical groups is stopping by Manila on February 20, 2023 as part of the DNA World Tour. 

This latest tour will see Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson, AJ MacLean, and Nick Carter stopping by multiple cities in Asia, including Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Singapore.

First exploding into the scene in the 1990s, the Backstreet Boys have sold a staggering 130 million records an counting throughout their career. Their biggest hits include “I Want it That Way,” “Quit Playing Games,” “Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely,” “As Long as You Love Me,” and “Shape of My Heart.”

In early 2019, the group released its Grammy-nominated 10th studio album “DNA” on RCA Records. Debuting at No. 1, the album features the Top 10 hit “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, which was nominated for the Pop Duo / Group Performance at the 2019 Grammys. The single made it to No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs and Global charts and charted in over 22 countries worldwide.

The Philippines is, of course, known to be BSB country. For this latest show, the boyband will perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Fan Club pre-sales starts on 7 November (Monday) at 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m, while Live Nation Philippines Members Pre-sale happens on 8 November (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Tickets to the general public will be available starting from 9 November (Wednesday) at 10 a.m.
