The Eraserheads Confirm Reissue of 'Ultraelectromagneticpop!'

If you're a fan of the Eraserheads—and who here isn't—you may have noticed Ely Buendia and Buddy Zabala hinting at something vaguely Eraserheads-related today. 

Zabala posted a photo of a sneaker, while Buendia posted a series of details from a rather familiar cover:

Some fans in the comments have already guessed at what's happening: Ultraelectromagneticpop!, the band's first mainstream album, is being reissued to mark its 25th anniversary. This new reissue is remastered by the legendary audio engineer Bernie Grundman, Buendia confirms.

Their debut studio album came out in 1993, and it's a tribute to the band's solid songwriting that this early release, made up of songs that they first wrote and recorded years before, includes some of the band's most enduring hits: "Toyang," "Shirley," "Tindahan ni Aling Nena," "Ligaya" and "Pare Ko," are among the songs in Ultraelectromagneticpop!
