Fête de la Musique 2025 Will be Headlined by James Reid, Ena Mori, Janin

FêtePH aims to bridge global cultures and genres and bring them to Metro Manila.

This year’s initial lineup for Fête de la Musique’s main stage will feature local pop stars James Reid, Janin, electro-pop artist Ena Mori and Japanese singer-songwriter Ito Kashitaro and French Jazz/ House Trio Emile Londonien.

The annual music and cultural festival, which is presented by Alliance Française de Manille, seeks to bridge different cultures and Manila’s local music. It started out in France in 1982 and has spanned across 120 countries and has been host to musicians from all walks of life.

The festival will consist of a multitude of pocket stages to showcase the local musical subcultures and genres for all types of music listeners and enthusiasts.

With its theme of “Un Monde” or One World, FêtePH 2025’s main stage is jam packed with new talent and established acts and genres from around the world.

Last year, Fête Philippines hit 30 years with Original Pilipino Music mainstays such as Barbie Almalbis, Ben&Ben, Cynthia Alexander, Bituin Escalante, Ena Mori, Joey Ayala, Kjwan, Razorback, Lola Amour, Unique Salonga, Up Dharma Down, Radioactive Sago Project, Sugarfree, The Itchyworms taking stage for momentous milestone.

What To Expect From This Year’s Fête Philippines

This year's iteration of the Fête festival will kick off via a pool party on June 1 at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City with techno beats from DJs Francis Gee, Marco Pedro, and Eva Smalls.

The yearly “Music Heals” segment will be held on June 8, which will involve sound meditation, workshops, incense testing, among other activities.

Among the initial list of artists performing at the festival’s main stage are Brigada, Janine Berdin, Bras Pas Pas Pas feat. Leanne & Naara, James Reid, The Ridleys, and Tarsius x Ena Mori.

The festival will also feature off-stage sets from Filipino artists Frank Ely and Zsaris, Bolivian Pop artist Bling Bling Papaya, and Singapore-based musician Marian Carmel.

FêtePH will run from June 1 to 28 and will be free of charge with interested attendees needing to register for the stages, and with stages outside of Metro Manila.

Some of the stages next month are the P-Pop stage, Pop Punk Stage, Neutral Ground Stage, Escolta Stage, World Music Stage, Cubao X Community Stage, Blues & Jazz Stage, Progressive & Crossover Rock Stage, Extreme Metal Stage, among others.

The Pocket Stages will start on June 27 across Makati City as part of the Barangay Pobalcion fiesta with intimate gigs of various genres and styles spread around the city.

On June 13, there will be a special Shangri-La Plaza Stage that promises to capture a vibrant showcase of “Gen Z magic” through a diverse lineup of musicians, which will be unveiled soon.

In other parts of the country, there will be 29 destination stages and 90 events spanning from Northern Luzon, in the Visayas region, to Southern Mindanao also showcasing  an array of genres and styles from local talent from these areas.

Besides Alliance Francaise, Shangri-La Plaza and the Embassy of France in the Philippines, the festival is also presented by Funkybeat Entertainment, Anam Kara, Tanduay, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Raffles and Fairmont Makati, Institut Français and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, among other partners.

"Music has an unparalleled ability to transcend borders and connect people,” said Xavier Leroux, who is the executive director of Alliance Francaise de Manille.

“This year, we aim to showcase how Filipino music resonates globally, truly making us all 'One World' through melody and rhythm."
