Its frame is supported by a wheelbase made of aluminum alloy number 383 (ADC12), a lightweight, highly durable, and corrosion-resistant metal. It is the same alloy used in manufacturing motorcycles, bicycles, and engine brackets.
Award-Winning Design
The limited-edition chair is part of Secretlab’s OMEGA and TITAN 2020 series, which are award-winning designs commended for their comfort and style. The Omega 2020 Series won Best Gaming Chair at the GamesRadar Hardware Awards 2020, an annual event that shows some of the best hardware of the year.
The Secretlab “Iron Throne” features gold Game of Thrones logos on the front and back of the seat, as well as iron swords fanning outward on the sides. The backrest and seatbase are covered in Prime 2.0 PU Leather, a proprietary Secretlab material that is four times more durable than conventional PU leather. The material passed sweat, humidity, flexibility, and abrasion tests conducted by TUV SUD and A-Star.
Its full-metal 4D armrests and full-length backrest recline are thoughtful features. It also has an adjustable lumbar support, which is not present in most gaming chairs brands.
