U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson Tests Positive for COVID-19

Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has tested positive for COVID-19 

“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms of the coronavirus—a temperature and a mild cough. On the advice of the chief medical officer, I have taken a test that has come out positive,” he said in a video posted to his Twitter account. “I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.”

In his two–minute statement, Johnson said he is working from home and that he is continuing to communicate with his top team.
