Bali Is Open to Filipino Tourists. Here Are the Travel Requirements
Filipino tourists can now add Bali, Indonesia to their list of places to fly to in 2022, as the island destination has scrapped mandatory on-arrival testing and quarantines.
Fully vaccinated tourists with Philippine passports can fly directly to Bali on a Visa on Arrival system. Visas can be purchased upon arrival in Bali, Indonesia.
These are the latest guidelines as of April 2022, but may change depending on the COVID situation in Indonesia and the Philippines.
What are the travel requirements to visit Bali, Indonesia?
Medical documents
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate (doses should be completed at least 14 days before departure from the country of origin)
- Negative COVID-19 PCR Test Result from any DOH accredited laboratories taken 48 hours prior to departure
All vaccine brands are accepted by Indonesia.
Travel documents
- Philippine passport valid for at least 6 months
- Roundtrip tickets to and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport
- IDR 500,000 (approx. P1,821) for payment of Visa on Arrival
- Proof of ownership of COVID-19 insurance
- Chosen airline's health declaration form
- Philippine Bureau of Immigration Declaration Form
What happens on arrival?
Upon arrival, tourists must undergo a COVID-19 symptom check, including a body temperature check. Visitors can skip the test if they show no symptom of COVID-19 and body temperature is below 37.5 degrees Celsius.
Quarantine is no longer mandatory for fully vaccinated indivduals.Â
