Cebu Pacific to Resume Flights from Clark to 4 Local Destinations

Starting in October, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is resuming its flights from the Clark International Airport (CRK) to four local destinations: Puerto Princesa in Palawan, Iloilo, Davao, and General Santos. This makes for a boost in the operations of the air carrier, bringing its total routes via the Pampanga hub to 10.

Flights to Puerto Princesa will be available again three to seven times weekly effective October 2. As for General Santos and Iloilo, CEB will fly these routes three and seven times every week, respectively, beginning on October 21. Clark-Davao flights, meanwhile, will be resumed on October 22, with three to seven trips weekly.

“This resumption underscores our commitment to offering greater accessibility to travelers from North and Central Luzon and provide every Juan with opportunities to discover the beauty and diversity of the Philippines,” CEB president Xander Lao said in a press release.

Cebu Pacific now claims to be the biggest airline serving CRK with the addition to its routes. This comes just days after the Gokongwei-led carrier announced it is spending a whopping P1.4 trillion for its fleet modernization program. Through its alliance with French aircraft manufacturer Airbus, it is purchasing a total of 152 Airbus A321 new engine option (neo) jets—deemed to be the “largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history.”

The low-cost airline currently flies to six key tourist spots from the Clark airport, namely Boracay, Cebu, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Narita, and Singapore. Across the board, Cebu Pacific mounts trips to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
