Palawan Is Named Bucket-List Destination For the New Decade

From being an under-the-radar destination to the world, Palawan has come to be known as one of the best islands in recent years. (Just ask Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.) And, it looks like it'll continue to grow in popularity.

Big 7 Travel, a travel and food web site, just included the archipelagic province on its list of 50 Bucket List Places You Need To Visit This Decade. The destinations that made it to the list include remote islands, disappearing rainforests, and emerging cities.
Palawan clocked in at the 11th spot in between Jordan's Petra and Singapore. Big 7 Travel included Palawan as it "feels untouched, with white sandy beaches, and tropical jungle." It adds, "El Nido is a cluster of 45 islands just off the tip of Palawan that you can explore, too. It’s famous for the Secret Lagoon."
