Ina Raymundo Advises Women: 'Never Ever Date an Insecure Man'
Can you believe it's been almost 30 years since Ina Raymundo made her debut in the iconic Sabado Nights TV commercial for San Miguel Beer? She was only 19 at the time. Time has flown by, and the sexy actress, now 48, is a mother to five beautiful children. Yet, she remains as captivating as ever, still topping the heat index. The actress showcases her timeless allure through stunning photographs in Cosmo's April 2024 feature.
The hot mama has recently made quite a splash after starring in the ABS-CBN TV series Can't Buy Me Love, alongside Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. Following that, she took the lead role in the May-December romance movie X and Y, with Kapuso actor Will Ashley.
How does she juggle her professional and personal lives? “There’s a time to be a mother, [and] there's a time to be an independent woman," she tells Cosmo. "There’s a time to be healthy, and there’s a time to enjoy the food that you eat. There’s a time to be sober, but there are times that you can have a few drinks and have fun.”

Having a partner with a chill disposition certainly helps. She's been married to her Canadian-Ukrainian husband, Brian Portunak, for 24 years now. “To be honest, a relationship that works is one where you're just chill. As a body of water, you're like a lake. Just calm. Not a raging river.”
Drawing from her own experience, Raymundo says those who are strong-willed would benefit from dating a foreigner "because they are more liberated." She also cautions: "Never ever date an insecure man. That's a red flag. A giant red flag."
Raymundo prioritizes work-life balance to avoid feeling overwhelmed. She adheres to a daily workout regimen, eats healthily, dances Zumba with her friends, and spends time with her family.
Despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, she also indulges in treats like truffle-flavored chips with soda. “Eating chips is so orgasmic. Sometimes I say it's better than sex when you eat chips especially when you haven't had them in a long time. That gives me pleasure,” she says.
What are her secrets to staying young? “I go natural, e. I’m always for organic—less chemical, less toxic. That’s why I exercise regularly. And I don’t look in the mirror all the time.”
To her, it's all about being unapologetic and embracing a carefree attitude. "Nothing should stop you from doing what you want. Wear what you want to wear, whatever makes you feel comfortable and your best [self].”
