Nutrition, Stress, and Financial Management: Grab Mounts Health and Welness Fair for Its Drivers
A wellness fair that includes seminars on proper nutrition, stress management, and even workshops on financial management and social protection. This is what Grab Philippines offers its driver partners in a bid to educate the community on the importance of adopting a healthier lifestyle.
According to CJ Lacsican, Head of Central Operations for Grab, more than 1,000 driver-partners and their family members joined the first Grab Family Wellness Fair in the second week of October.
The fair featured an array of free health services and engaging knowledge-sharing on critical health topics such as wellness and healthy diet, preventing non-communicable diseases, cervical cancer awareness and a safety training from Red Cross.

“In our recent wellness fair, we zeroed in on proper nutrition, effective stress management, preventive care and social protection because we want to help them prioritize their own wellbeing, which is often overlooked due to the demanding nature of their livelihoods on the road,” Lacsican said.
“We continue to recognize the hard work and dedication of our driver-partners as they ply busy thoroughfares daily just to ensure a better future for their families,” she added. “Their aspirations realized and goals met inspire us to relentlessly develop impactful engagement programs that are tailored to enhance diverse aspects of their lifestyle.”
Grab also invited key partners from Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG Fund to motivate the attendees to register as members of the agencies, helping empower them to secure their future and access the many benefits and services offered by these government agencies.
“We at Pag-IBIG Fund do all that we can to ensure that access to our benefits and programs remain inclusive. That is why we are happy that Grab PH shares our goal of improving the lives of their driver-partners by helping them gain social protection through Pag-IBIG Fund membership,” Alexander Hilario G. Aguilar, Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEO for Member Services said.
“In fact, thousands of Grab PH driver-partners have already registered as Pag-IBIG members, and now have secure savings and access to our home loan programs,” Aguilar added. “We expect this to further rise in the coming months as we continue to strengthen our partnership.”
