Letty Tan, Lucio Tan's Spouse, Passes Away at 77

Lucia “Letty” Gonzalez-Tan passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, at the age of 77.

She is the mother of Michael, LT Group president, son of industrialist and Philippine Airlines taipan Lucio Tan. 

In a statement, the Tan family said Letty's death was caused by a “lingering illness.”

Lucio Tan, 86, lost his son, Lucio Tan Jr., nine months earlier, in November, 2019.

According to the statement, she will be remembered for being a "jolly and doting mother and grandmother,” by her children, Michael and Angeline, Sharon and Edgard, John and Nancy, Cherry and Alfred, Timmy and Christine, and her many grandchildren.

"Our Mom will always be remembered for her kindness and big heart. We will all miss her. May the Lord God bless her soul as she joins Him in heaven," said the family.

Letty’s wake will be held at Heritage Park Memorial Chapel, Taguig City, from September 2 to 7. She will be interred on September 8.
