From Miss Universe to a student.

What do you do when you win the world? It’s been almost six years since that fateful night when Pia Wurtzbach won the world—or the Universe rather—but what do you do after a momentous year as Miss Universe?

Pia has since passed on her crown, and despite the many guestings, endorsements, and interviews she entertains, there’s still more awaiting the former pageant queen. One thing she’s eyeing? Business.

“I’m really interested in learning more about business. It’s what I’m trying to learn now,” said Wurtzbach to Esquire’s editor at large Sarge Lacuesta in the latest episode of the Lonely Hearts podcast by Esquire Philippines.

From Miss Universe to a student of entrepreneurship, Pia wants to do it all and rejoices in starting at the bottom again.

“I want to launch my own products. I want to launch my own brand. I’ve been a brand endorser for different products in the Philippines, but I want to learn how to have my own now. So I’m slowly starting to learn that,” said Pia as she opened up on the podcast.

She admits that she doesn’t have formal education on the matter, but is still hopeful given the sheer amount of successful entrepreneurs who are in the same boat as her. But none of them have the edge of having ruled the Universe for a year.
