Catch the best of Paris Fashion Week live on Esquire

Heads up, you can watch the fall/winter 2017 shows of Givenchy (on January 21, Saturday, at 1 a.m.) and Hermès (on January 22, Sunday at 3 a.m.) right here.
Why would you want to stay up for that?
Well, if you are one of the growing number of the style-minded men out there, then you know that seeing clothes in motion, in the very particular way that the designer has envisioned them, helps inform your knowledge of what you will wear in the coming months.
But if you’ve never seen a runway presentation, then please do yourself a favor and watch one this weekend. The setting, the atmosphere, the lights, the music, and all the shiny people gawking (coolly) at the each look are not to be missed. This is like a very intense movie, whose action and drama are condensed into something between mere minutes to a little shy of half an hour.
And then, of course, there are all the new clothes, from, say, print-loaded parkas to paper-thin cardigans, all made well and with care by two of the most loved French luxury houses. That’s good enough reason to keep your eyes peeled on the weekend.
