Phillips Watches & Jewels Spring 2024 Singapore Preview Opens

Auction house Phillips held a preview for its flagship Geneva Sales event at the St. Regis Singapore on April 26 to 28, 2024. Auction highlights include a unique selection of watches and jewelry. The preview is a prelude to the Geneva Sales, which will take place on May 11 to 13, 2024 at the Hotel President Geneva. The new venue will feature 500 square meters of sunlit exhibition space and stunning views of Lake Geneva.

Some of the highlights on display at Singapore include 50 lots from the Geneva Watch Auction: XIX Featuring the Guido Mondani Collection. This includes a two-crown Patek Philippe World Timer Ref. 2523/1; a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ‘John Player Special’ Ref. 6241; a Rolex Ref. 6102 with “Caravel” cloisonné enamel dial; a possibly unique and previously unknown A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 with a Blue Dial, one of a very few of this model cased in stainless steel; and a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 6269 from the esteemed Italian watch collector and publisher, Guido Mondani.

Also on display are 50 lots from The Hong Kong Watch Auction XVIII. Highlights include the Patek Philippe ref. 3700/1 in 18K white gold made for the Sultan of Oman, a rare and stunning Patek Philippe ref. 1463 “Tasti Tondi,” a Rolex ref.6263 “Paul Newman Panda MK 2", a De Bethune’s DB28 Kind of Blue which won the Aiguille d’Or at the GPHG in 2021, as well as important pocket watches hailing from a prestigious family collection.

Other stunning pieces include nearly 40 lots from The New York Watch Auction: X will be on view. Highlights including a Philippe Dufour Duality that has never been seen by the public, a Rolex Paul Newman Daytona “John Player Special,” and a unique Hajime Asaoka’s Prototype Tourbillon PURA.
