Watch George Clooney's Amazing Game of Thrones-Esque Campaign for Nespresso

George Clooney has been the face of Nespresso for over two decades. Through the years, he’s starred in several creative campaigns for the premium coffee brand. Clooney’s latest commercial, however, is definitely one of his most amazing ones yet.

In The Quest, Clooney stars as a knight who goes above and beyond the kingdom to get his coffee fix. “I’ve been working with Nespresso for many years and I’m thrilled to be back on set. This time I get to work with the very talented Natalie Dormer and live out my fantasy of playing the role of a medieval knight,” said George Clooney.


In it, he delivers a slain dragon to his queen, aptly played by Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer. When asked what he desires for saving the kingdom, he casually steps out and breaks the fourth wall on to the streets of New York City. The quest takes him to a Nespresso store where he grabs a piping hot cup of coffee. The knight then makes his way back to his kingdom and presents the cup by saying, “’Tis all I desire!” The queen then asks him if he managed to bring enough for the whole kingdom.

According to a press release, the campaign is inspired by Nespresso’s “tireless pursuit of excellence.” Another campaign titled Really, George? features the many people behind the coffee growing process.
