Is This What The Tesla Pick-Up Truck Might Look Like?

The Tesla electric pick-up truck is set to be officially unveiled later this year, but up to now any actual details have been very thin on the ground.

Thankfully Turkish-Canadian designer Emre Husmen has stepped in to this information vacuum to offer his own interpretation of what the truckto be called Model P in the company’s burgeoning product line-upmight look like.

Husmen’s spectacular concept manages to incorporate elements of Tesla’s current design ethos with a few far-out flashes of his own, that may or may not be based on some of the clues planted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk over the last 6 months.

Back in November last year Musk called it a ‘“really futuristic-like cyberpunk 'Blade Runner’ design” and has previously made references to it having 6 seats, a range of 500 miles and that it might be considered too futuristic for some people's tastes. He has also described it as “heart-stopping” and called it the Tesla he’s most excited about.

In March this year, Musk also revealed a fairly incomprehensible teaser image which encouraged a wave of amateur renders.

We’ll have to wait until summer at the earliest to find out how close Husmen’s concept vision will be to the real Model P.

Meanwhile, the Tesla team might be quietly hoping their own efforts match up.
