Over a Year Since They Made Their Philippine Debut, These 2 Car Brands are ‘Officially’ in the Country
Omoda and Jaecoo are car brands that have been in the Philippines for over a year. In mid-February, however, they held their “official” grand launch at the Bonifacio Global City Arts Center.
Three models were introduced at the launch: the Omoda C5, Omoda E5, and Jaecoo EJ6.

Last year, the brands made some public appearances by participating in several key automotive events starting off at the Manila International Auto Show, the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, and the Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Multi-Brand Test Drive Festival.

“The Philippines is the fifth Southeast Asian market to welcome Omoda & Jaecoo, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Shawn Xu, CEO of Omoda & Jaecoo Global. “Since first entering the market in 2023, we’ve seen a strong demand for vehicles that combine sleek style with smart technology. Now, Filipino drivers can finally get behind the wheel of our models, designed for both city streets and adventure trails.”
The Omoda C5 and E5

The Omoda C5 is the brand’s crossover and comes in three variants: the base C5 1.5L Lifestyle variant priced at P998,000; C5 1.5T Comfort priced at P1.159 million; and top-of-the-line C5 1.5T Luxury at P1.279 million. The Omoda E5 fully electric vehicle, meanwhile, is priced at P1.699 million.
However, the brands are offering the units with massive discounts as part of its introductory promotion: The C5 1.5L Lifestyle at P898,000; the C5 1.5T Comfort at P1,059 million; and the C5 1.5T Luxury at P1.179 million.
The Jaecoo EJ6 is priced at P1.799 million

The Omoda E5, meanwhile, is priced at P1.699 million but is being offered at P1.499 million.
The Jaecoo EJ6, on the other hand, is the brand’s all-electric SUV engineered to handle different off-road terrains. It is available in green, black, white, and gray, the EJ6 comes in two variants: Its RWD Premium variant is priced at P1.649 million while the AWD Premium variant is priced at P1.799 million.

“With the warm reception that the Omoda C5 and Omoda E5 received even before our official launch, we were inspired to roll out a promo for our Filipino buyers. This way, more Filipinos can experience premium automotive innovation firsthand,” shares Xu said.
Buyers can avail of the promo prices until June 30, 2025 and comes a two-year free preventive maintenance service (PMS).
Each vehicle comes with a portable emergency charger, a wall charger, and two years of free PMS. The EJ6 is rated with a combined 278 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque, and has a top speed of 150 kph. Its 69.77-kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery offers a range of up to 421 kilometers on a full charge.

During the launch, officials said Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines will have 24 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2025, with locations including Quezon City, Makati and Bonifacio Global City.
