Everyone knows of road rage, but what about parking rage? The frustration of checking each and every parking lot for available slots has driven many Metro Manila drivers crazy, but that might be put to an end—at least in Makati City—thanks to Parking Buddy, the local app that acts as the Waze of parking lots.

The app’s interface displays a map of Makati City and all of the public parking lots in the area, along with the number of available slots in each parking facility. There’s also an in-app Waze button similar to the Grab Driver app so Waze can help you navigate to the parking lot you choose.

Clicking on a parking lot will also tell you the rates for the first few hours, as well as the succeeding hours and overnight fees. The app covers parking spaces for both cars and motorcycles.

Parking Buddy was developed by Ayala Property Management Corporation in an effort to help Makatizens avoid traffic by find parking slots faster.

So far, it only covers 14 parking lots in the Makati Central Business District and Ayala Center. These parking lots are Park Square; Glorietta 1, 2, and Terraces Square; Glorietta 3; Glorietta 4 and 5; The Link; 6750 Steel Car Park; Gabriela Silang; Greenbelt 1; Greenbelt 2 to 5 (Basement); Paseo Steel and Greenbelt 2 (Upper Level); Dela Rosa 1; Dela Rosa 2; Tower One; and Valero.

Parking Buddy is a life-saver for anyone visiting this part of the metro, and we can’t help but hope it’ll one day expand to cover all of Metro Manila. Because seriously, parking is a headache.

Parking Buddy is available in the Play Store and App Store.
