In the past month, corporations, organizations, and individuals have mobilized themselves and resources to support and feed frontliners and vulnerable sectors amid the COVID-19 crisis. But a group of people who also needs help during the crisis is often overlooked: film workers.

Mikhail Red, director of international hits such as Birdshot, Eerie, and Dead Kids, will host the Facebook live session Kwentuhan Lang. During the livestream, Red will answer any questions posted by people in the comments section of the event’s poster.

The Kwentuhan Lang live sessions is organized by Cinema ’76 and Lockdown Cinema to help film workers during the lockdown. It is not only filmmakers like Red who had to pause their jobs, but also daily earners in the industry such as production crew, camera crew, makeup artists, and other vulnerable film workers who need support.

Red’s Kwentuhan Lang live sessions will stream on Cinema '76 Film Society’s Facebook page on Wednesday, April 15 at 8:00 p.m. If you have questions for the director, you may post them on the comments section of the poster below.
