Nobu Manila Unveils Fine-Dining Special Menu for the Holidays
Nobu at City of Dreams Manila is all set to bring discerning diners an indulgent spread this holiday season. It is, after all, the global brand's 30th anniversary of culinary innovation and vision through Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, in partnership with co-owners Robert De Niro and Meir Teper.
For the holidays, Nobu Manila's special menu features new creations and iconic dishes, all embodying Chef Nobu's service trademark "kokoro" or "from the heart."

Nobu Manila's Sunday Brunch
If your days leading up to Christmas and New Year are scheduled for family reunions and get-togethers with friends, then Nobu Manila might make for a great choice for Sunday brunch. Its special spread on December 22 and 29 has unlimited helpings of popular Nobu-style dishes, such as Nobu Signature Sashimi Trio of Tuna Matsuhisa, Yellowtail Jalapeño and Salmon Karashi Su Miso (tart miso-mustard sauce); Black Cod Butter Lettuce; and Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura. The seafood station features a whole tuna sashimi, oysters, blue crabs, shrimp, and green mussels; while the dessert station highlights a chocolate fountain.

For their Carving of the Day, there's the Roasted Whole US Prime Ribeye served with Wagyu Beef Chahan (fried rice), and the popular Crispy Pata (pork leg) paired with a choice of sauce on December 22; and the Slow-Smoked Whole Wagyu Brisket and Roasted Whole Turkey. Nobu-style Uni (sea urchin), and the Nobu-fied Palabok on December 29.

Five-Course Dinner Tasting Menu
Indulge in a fine dining experience at Nobu Manila during the holidays because you deserve it.
For Noche Buena on December 24 and Christmas Day dinner on December 25, the tasting menu starts with a chef’s choice of appetizer. This is followed by a sampler of Nobu Sashimi (tuna with liver aioli and caviar, shrimp and surf clam salad with yogurt wasabi dressing, and salmon with amazu jelly); then a selection of assorted sushi and Chawanmushi with rock shrimp and truffle; then the Lobster with Truffle Yuzu dressing, mixed mushrooms, and crispy garlic chips; and the Braised Wagyu Short Ribs with wasabi mashed potato, cranberry sake-mirin reduction. For dessert, there's the Chestnut Brûlée with chocolate sorbet and tonka bean foam.

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day dinner tasting menu, on the other hand, commences with the chef's choice of zensai (appetizer). Next on the menu is the Nobu Sashimi Sampler (yellowtail with melon puree and caviar, squid salad with jalapeño dressing, and salmon with yuzu gravy; then a seasonal selection of premium assorted sushi; Lobster with cha soba, truffle tosazu butter sauce; and finally, Wagyu Beef with foie gras and kuri-kinton (a staple New Year dish in Japan made from candied chestnuts and sweet potatoes). The dessert is the Red Bean Butter Mochi.
