For us Filipinos, when we think of the ultimate carby, salty snack, a top-of-mind brand is Potato Corner—or PotCor as the youngins' call it these days. Yup, PotCor's wide array of savory flavored fries, headlined by the classic flavors of Cheese, Barbeque, and Sour Cream, have captured the hearts and stomachs of many generations. This is why it isn't a surprise to find a Potato Corner stall in almost every mall, nook, and cranny in the country. Heck, even outside the country. Yes, folks, even when you're abroad, there's still a chance to grab a bowl or two—we won't judge—of your favorite spud. Case in point: Potato Corner just opened its first branch in the United Kingdom; in London, to be exact!

Located at Medz Corner, High Street Kensington, London, the English PotCor franchise is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. It carries all the base flavors, namely Cheese, Barbeque, Sour Cream, and Chili Barbeque. The fries—or, as the Brits call them, chips—will be available in the usual Potato Corner sizes of Jumbo, Mega, Giga, and Terra.

By the looks of their opening day, it doesn't seem like it would take a lot to convince the Brits of these fries', er, chips' supremacy.
