Working From Home? This Is Where You Can Find Your Ideal Office Chair
Whether you’re working from home or at the office, sitting on your chair for hours—the whole day, even—can cause back aches or stiff necks, or make you feel uncomfortable overall. This is where ergonomic office chairs, which are becoming quite the trend these days, enter the picture.
TWU Furniture Corporation (Things We Use PH) and China-based Shenzhen Sihoo Intelligent Furniture Co., Ltd., (Sihoo), which both offer ergonomic solutions for customers, have opened a flagship showroom in the Philippines.
“We are pleased to finally have a place for people to experience the difference and the possibilities of living with ergonomic solutions, and how this could fit into their everyday lives,” Rose Sunga, one of the co-founders of TWU, said.

Showing off the wide variety of ergonomic office chairs, the founders said each product has its “own character and focus on comfort.”

One of the bestsellers is the M57, a mesh office chair that helps support your spine and improve your posture. Its current price starts at P10,000.

This model below, the Doro S300, is said to be the best offering of TWU x Sihoo, providing maximum seating comfort and weightless recline. Available in the colors black and grey-white, customers can buy the high-back office chair for at least P31,000.

TWU has been the official distributor of Sihoo, one of the leading brands in terms of ergonomic products, for quite a while. But it was only in 2020 when both companies decided to collaborate for the innovation.
“Because of the changing modern times, people have moved their offices to their homes. Sihoo has noticed this. We need to take care of our bodies especially now, a very strong reason for us to continue our innovating,” Luo Huiping, chairman of Sihoo, said.
“It’s only too easy for people to overlook the little adjustments and changes they can do to improve their efficiency and well-being. We believe that leveraging technology and engineering and curating a portfolio of products that make use of these elements could make a difference to so many,” Aldrich Tang, the other co-founder of TWU, added.
Whether it's for work, home, or even gaming, customers can rely on ergonomic chairs as well as standing desks produced by Sihoo, which has been crafting furnitures powered by advanced intelligent engineering principles since 2011. All its products are subjected to Business + Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) standards, among others.
The newly opened TWU x Sihoo showroom is located at the 4th floor of the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City.
