A few months ago, during the Age of Normal Times, we didn’t know who Hyun Bin was. And then the world changed, and we were stuck with our Significant Others all day, and they wanted to watch this show called Crash Landing on You, which was about a very rich South Korean lady, who crashed into North Korean territory because a tornado rudely interrupted her paragliding activity. And so we became acquainted with Hyun Bin, he of the stolid demeanor, camouflage jackets, and perfect V-shaped face. We thought, “Hey, this guy is okay. Yeah, he’s good looking. He’s cool.” And also: “This story is weird… but good?” Plus: “Why can’t she just go home?” Then, the show finally ended and we went on with our daily quarantine routine of living like mole people.
