Take a Closer Look at the iPhone 8's All-Glass Design (Before You Inevitably Smash It)
It seems barely a day passes without an iPhone 8 rumor, whether it is the price, potential facial detection and retina scanner, or possibility of wireless charging. It feels like Steve Jobs is orchestrating a never-ending keynote address from beyond the grave to ensure we get the message that there is a new iPhone on the way.
Today is a landmark day, as we have the most concrete look at what the bastard thing will look like courtesy of Tiger Mobiles and Onleaks. The video gives us some analysis of the all-glass bezel-free design and 5.8-inch display that we can expect from the 10th anniversary flagship model.
The video reveals that the new handset will be taller and thicker than previous models and as we suspected (a-ha!) will indeed have a vertically dual-camera.
Unsurprisingly the prospect of an all-glass accident waiting to happen inspired one response for the percentage of the population already carrying broken glass around every day.
