Filipino-Canadian Gordon Kyle Diez Cormier is going to be mastering all four elements as he plays the character of Aang, the Last Airbender.

On August 12, Netflix revealed the cast of its live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which was originally an animated series on Nickelodeon.

Prior to landing the role of the Last Airbender, Cormier had appeared in The Stand (2020) and Lost in Space (2018), according to IMDB. Cormier lives in Vancouver, Canada with his family.

The 11-year-old actor has an Instagram account run by his parents. Cormier is a fan of skateboarding and frequented skate parks in Vancouver before the pandemic.
