Got a Business Idea? You Can Win P1 Million in This New Reality TV Show
Filipino entrepreneurs looking for support in these tough times will be interested to know that there’s an opportunity waiting for them via a new reality TV show, where they can win P1 million in funding. Project Go is a program developed for aspiring and active Filipino entrepreneurs to pitch their idea to Filipino business experts so they could make their dream business ventures come true.
Focused on the spirit of entrepreneurship in the Philippines, Project Go is designed “to capture the full journey from passionate entrepreneur with a great business idea, to creating a professional online presence for their idea, to pitching the idea to receive funding to grow.”
The show was conceptualized and developed by internet domain registar and web hosting company GoDaddy along with entertainment network AXN and will have five episodes. Open auditions will run from August 7 to September 2, 2020, with the winning contestant getting the chance to kickstart their venture online with GoDaddy, and receive P1 million in funding to get started.
According to organizers, anyone who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, a keen business mindset, or has an existing small business, is welcome to apply to project Go. The audition process for starts with an open invitation to submit applications via this link. Open auditions will run from August 7 to September 2, 2020.
Twenty applicants with the most compelling ideas will have the chance to pitch to a distinguished panel of mentors and established Filipino business experts via video conferencing. Shortlisted entries will be based on the following criteria: originality, marketability, feasibility, and presentation performance. Business Mentors will select the top four big ideas whose entrepreneurs will participate in the next phase called “Bootcamp Sessions.”
Contestants who make it to this round will undergo rigorous digital training and coaching to prepare them for the finale. In the “The Big Pitch” episode, entrepreneur finalists will present their final pitch to a panel of Businesses Experts, in the hopes of winning the prize money.
