Giant Face Masks With Colorful Artwork on Display in Rizal Province

Rizal Province's artists have come together to put up an exhibit featuring giant face masks with their artwork on them.
Rizal has long been regarded as the cradle of the arts in the Philippines, with Angono as the "Art Capital of the Philippines." Also nestled within the province is the famed Pinto Art Museum, which was founded by Dr. Joven Cuanang, regarded as a patron of the Filipino artistic community.
Rizal province once again showcases its people's artistic flair as it exhibits giant masks painted by artists from each of the province's cities. SM City Taytay hosted the exhibit.
The Inter-Town Giant Mask Design Contest was organized to showcase the talents of Rizal's artists and their interpretation of their town through art. According to the host, the artworks are the artists' "glimpse of each town and city in Rizal painted into a giant face mask."
The exhibit commemorates the anniversary of the province and Philippine Independence Day. The exhibit will run until June 12, 2021.
