Givenchy Redefines Gentlemanly Elegance with Eau de Parfum Ambrée
Givenchy introduces Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée, the newest addition to its Gentleman Society fragrance collection. The launch marks another evolution of the House’s long-standing vision of what it means to be a gentleman today—an idea that has shifted from traditional refinement to a broader, more inclusive form of sophistication.
When Hubert de Givenchy created the original Givenchy Gentleman in 1975, he envisioned a scent for “the most gentle of men.” Nearly 50 years later, that ethos continues through Gentleman Society, a line that represents, according to the brand, “gentlemen of our time who share essential values—keen social awareness, deep respect for others, unwavering loyalty towards their commitments, elegance tinged with irreverence, and the wish to have a positive impact on society.”
Following the releases of Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum and Eau de Parfum Extrême, the new Eau de Parfum Ambrée explores “a new facet of the gentleman attitude.” The fragrance draws inspiration from the founder’s “grand style,” a phrase Hubert de Givenchy once used to describe his own approach to life, marked by creativity, flamboyance, and freedom.

Perfumer Karine Dubreuil Sereni builds on the fragrance’s signature blend of narcissus and vetiver, enriching it with warm, ambery notes for a deeper, more textured scent. Notes of balsam from Peru and opoponax are blended with Tasuki vanilla from Madagascar, a high-quality vanilla used by Givenchy for the first time. These are contrasted with darker notes of leather, tobacco, and Australian sandalwood, creating what the brand describes as “a chiaroscuro effect that gives the fragrance its rich, textured, and deeply addictive sillage.”
British musician, poet, and actor Benjamin Clementine fronts Givenchy’s 2025 Gentleman Society campaign alongside a new, inclusive cast.

The bottle retains the black lacquered finish and minimalist silhouette of the Gentleman Society line. Its signature 4G metal plate now appears in timeless champagne gold. The same tone frames the outer case, complementing the scent’s warm character.
As part of the 2025 campaign, Givenchy once again features British musician, poet, and actor Benjamin Clementine as the embodiment of the Gentleman Society spirit. This time, he is joined by “new members” representing a broader community, including a woman, in what Givenchy describes as “a living depiction of openness and inclusiveness.”
Givenchy Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée is available in 60ml (P6,950) and 100ml (P8,950) bottles at Givenchy Beauty boutiques and select retailers.
Givenchy Fragrances is exclusively distributed by Rustan Marketing Corporation.
