These Are the Most Popular Songs to Listen to At Work

Some of us prefer a quiet workplace, but there are those who love to put on some tunes while we slave away at our desks. That got us wondering what the most popular songs are to listen to at work. 

Hitachi Capital parsed through 6,000 playlists on Spotify that included words like “office, “WFH,” “building site,” and “retail” to figure out what people like listening to the most while they work. While the study focused more on the listening habits of British people, it still provides us a glimpse of what type of music appeals to people from different industries. 

Based on the study, song people working in an office listened to the most is Jason Mraz’s 2008 hit “Im Yours.” According to Hitachi Capital, the song “has a relaxing vibe which might help people to focus on their work more.”
